Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing my new friend Miss M. at my South San Francisco studio. I think we laughed through almost the whole shoot, which isn’t surprising at all because that’s what it seems like we do whenever we get together. Not only is M simply beautiful, she also has a radiance about her that really comes through in her personality and especially through her warm smile. Since my specialty is glamour and not necessarily boudoir, a subtle but significant difference, it was fun for me to mix it up and incorporate a few boudoir style portraits. She was such a blast to photograph and I hope her hubby enjoys these for their anniversary as much as she does.

I absolutely love how the burnt orange dress and the pretty lace dress shows off her curvy waist and hips. Total hourglass figure!
The lace dress paired up perfectly with the black tulle skirt I have in studio:
M brought in this super fun fur vest and we had fun trying to shoot her in it in different ways. Super glam!
This has got to be one of my absolute favorites from this shoot…just lips and a sexy back line. Sometimes the most beautiful portraits are the ones that have a bit of mystery to them.
Then we moved on to boudoir portraits and just tried a variety of looks and lighting. M did a great job of picking out some wonderful wardrobe to shoot in (with a little help of course)!
This corset went amazingly well with her skin tone and just brought out her curves. She wanted to make sure we got a few shots with the tattoo because it holds significance for her and her husband.

I love bright, bold colors and you definitely cannot go wrong with red in the bedroom:

Some of that yummy backlighting that I love shooting with. It works especially well for boudoir and glamour.
