Vela Scarves recently featured Fizzah Raza Photography in a blog post. Vela Scarves is a pretty young company run out of Southern California. Marwa Atik is the owner and designer of women’s head scarves or hijab. What I love about these hijabs is that they incorporate new and funky ideas, textures, layers, feathers, trim, beading, etc. and flip the idea of the traditional headscarf so that it is a fashionable item in a woman’s wardrobe.
The days were really long and I think we worked with 8-10 models on two different days. All in all, they were great to work with and we had a lot of fun. There are some great images in there too!
